Increasing Number of Americans See Biden’s Declining Mental Health

A majority of Americans, including a significant number of Democrats, now view President Biden’s deteriorating mental health as a national security threat, according to new polling from Rasmussen Reports.

Biden’s recent address to the nation did little to alleviate these concerns, as he appeared unwell and not fully engaged. This has fueled ongoing calls for him to step down not only from his campaign but also from the presidency.

The Washington Examiner reports:

Most, including 39% of Democrats, fear Biden is a ‘threat’ to US security

President Joe Biden’s perceived mental decline is increasingly seen as a threat to national security, according to a new poll—a finding expected to bolster efforts to push him out of the White House before his term ends on Jan. 20.

Over the weekend, Biden flip-flopped and announced he was leaving the 2024 race for reelection after a poor performance in his first debate with GOP challenger Donald Trump and after media scrutiny of his stumbles and mumbles on the campaign trail.

Some have suggested that Biden is “senile” and have been pushing for him to leave office immediately. However, he has attributed his poor appearances to other factors such as jet lag, COVID-19, and a lack of sleep.

In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey, shared with Secrets, 61% of respondents said Biden’s “mental decline” is a threat to national security. Notably, 39% of Democrats and 62% of independents agreed in the poll conducted with the Heartland Institute before Biden announced his withdrawal from the reelection campaign.

It’s hard to disagree with these findings.

61% See Biden’s Mental Decline as ‘Threat’ to National Security

President Joe Biden has quit his campaign for reelection, but most voters believe the decline in his mental ability poses a danger for America.

However, the downside of Biden resigning the presidency is that Kamala Harris would take his place.
