When President Trump took the stage, he invited a local artist known as ‘Artlanta’ to join him. The artist had painted a picture of Trump raising his fist and shouting “Fight! Fight! Fight!” in response to an attempted assassination at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July.
Artlanta initially thought he would be giving the painting to Trump. However, Trump instead signed the artwork for him and sent him back into the stands.
Trump praised the artist before signing the painting, and the young Black artist then left the stage.
