DHS under secretary admits Biden’s mental decline ‘accelerated 12 to 24 months’ Into Biden’s term

In a new undercover video released by O’Keefe Media Group, a high-ranking member of the Biden administration revealed concerning details about President Joe Biden’s mental decline during his time in office.

The video features Robert P. Silvers, Under Secretary for Policy at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), discussing the President’s deteriorating cognitive state and the challenges faced by the administration.

Silvers disclosed that President Biden’s mental decline became noticeable within 12 to 24 months of his term and has progressively worsened. “He’s not the guy he was when he took office four years ago,” Silvers stated in the recording, describing the President’s “degraded faculties.”

He added that Biden’s mental state has sometimes affected his ability to lead critical meetings, particularly in the White House Situation Room.

“There are moments where he’s [Biden] in there, and it’s a blank,” Silvers revealed. He noted that while the President’s body has physically deteriorated faster than his mind, there are times when Biden “just can’t get the words out” even when he is thinking clearly.

Silvers also spoke candidly about the emotional toll of Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.

Describing it as a “traumatic” and “crushing blow” to Biden administration staff, he claimed that Trump’s return to the White House left many in the administration feeling demoralized. “There’s no work to be done,” Silvers added, referring to the perceived futility of continuing certain initiatives after Trump’s win.

The DHS official acknowledged the administration’s struggles with record-high illegal immigration at the southern border, a persistent issue that has plagued Biden’s presidency.

Silvers admitted that the situation worsened significantly early in Biden’s term. “At the start of the Biden administration, the border numbers spiked, really much higher,” he said, pointing to the challenges of managing the escalating crisis.

The admission highlights the administration’s ongoing difficulties in addressing immigration policy, a topic that has drawn criticism from both political opponents and members of the public.

Silvers announced his resignation from the DHS earlier this year, with his final day slated for December 18. In an email sent to staff before Thanksgiving, he confirmed his departure, which coincidentally aligned with the release of the undercover video.

While at DHS, Silvers focused heavily on cybersecurity issues, including ransomware threats. He also chaired the Cyber Safety Review Board, a panel modeled after the National Transportation Safety Board, tasked with investigating major digital security incidents.

A source close to the matter told The Record that Silvers’ resignation was unrelated to the undercover video, calling the timing “completely separate.”

The revelations from Silvers come at a precarious time for the Biden administration as it grapples with criticism over its handling of the border crisis, allegations of internal dysfunction, and the looming political ramifications of Trump’s return to power.
