HOT MIC: Dan Crenshaw says he would ‘kill’ Tucker Carlson if they ever met—Tucker invites him for a interview

Dan Crenshaw Tucker Carlson

Dan Crenshaw was caught on a hot mic making an alarming statement about conservative commentator Tucker Carlson. While speaking with Great Britain News host Steven Edgington, Crenshaw was asked if he had ever met Carlson. His response, which was inadvertently picked up by the microphone, shocked many:

If I ever meet him, I’d f*cking kill him, Crenshaw said, followed by a remark suggesting he considers Carlson the worst person ever.

The audio quickly went viral after circulating on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk even weighed in, questioning why Crenshaw was exhibiting homicidal behavior toward Carlson.

Carlson himself responded directly to Crenshaw’s comments, challenging the congressman to a public conversation. Why don’t you come sit for an interview, and we’ll see how you do? Carlson posted. I’ll send you my address.

Crenshaw’s hostility toward Carlson is not new. The Texas congressman has been a vocal critic of the former Fox News host, frequently accusing him of pushing misleading narratives for personal gain. In a scathing 2024 social media post, Crenshaw described Carlson as a click-chaser who thrives on stirring controversy rather than providing truthful journalism.

Tucker’s MO is simple: defend America’s enemies and attack America’s allies. There isn’t an objective bone left in that washed-up news host’s body. Mindless contrarianism is his guiding principle, buttressed by his childish tactic to just ask questions!

Crenshaw further accused Carlson of deliberately spreading misinformation for monetary gain, arguing that his style of journalism fosters paranoia and division.

He does this for one simple reason: clicks and engagement, which of course translate to monetary benefit. He wants you to believe he is the last place you can go to for truth, that he’s the only one brave enough to reveal the elitist lies being told.

At the time, Crenshaw was particularly outraged over Carlson’s reporting on alleged Christian mistreatment in Israel, dismissing it as nonsense.

Tucker will eventually fade into nothingness because his veneer of faux intellectualism is quickly falling apart and revealing who he truly is: a cowardly, know-nothing elitist who is full of (expletive), Crenshaw concluded.

The hot mic incident has further fueled tensions between Crenshaw and Carlson’s supporters. Some conservative figures are now demanding an explanation from Crenshaw, while others question whether such rhetoric is appropriate for a sitting congressman.

As of now, Crenshaw has not publicly addressed his comments. Given the backlash, it remains to be seen whether he will issue a retraction or double down on his stance.
