BREAKING: Elon Musk Reveals Jaw-Dropping Monthly Donation to Trump

Elon Musk, the world’s richest individual, has reportedly committed to an unprecedented monthly contribution of $45 million to a super PAC supporting former President Donald Trump’s campaign.

This news comes shortly after Bloomberg reported Musk was making a “sizable” contribution to the PAC, though the exact amount was not specified.

According to the Wall Street Journal, this significant development could reshape the landscape of the 2024 presidential election.

The newly formed America PAC, established in June, has attracted a coalition of high-profile backers alongside Musk. These include Palantir Technologies co-founder Joe Lonsdale, cryptocurrency entrepreneurs Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, and former U.S. ambassador to Canada Kelly Craft and her husband, Joe Craft, CEO of Alliance Resource Partners, as reported by the Journal.

America PAC’s primary focus is on voter registration and mobilization in key swing states, emphasizing early voting and mail-in ballot requests—a central strategy for Trump’s campaign. This approach aims to counter the historically strong “get out the vote” efforts of the Democratic Party, seeking to level the playing field in crucial battleground states.

The scale of Musk’s reported commitment is extraordinary, even for someone with an estimated fortune exceeding $250 billion. If realized, the Journal notes his contributions would dwarf the current largest known donation of the 2024 election cycle—a $50 million gift from Thomas Mellon’s great-grandson to another pro-Trump super PAC.

America PAC has already hired hundreds of employees to spearhead its voter engagement efforts, according to sources familiar with the matter. These activities include registering new voters, conducting conversations with constituents in swing states, and encouraging the use of mail-in ballots—a move Trump has said is needed to “swamp the radical Democrats” with votes.

“We must use every appropriate tool available to beat the Democrats; they are destroying our country,” Trump has said regarding mail-in voting.

A recent filing revealed that America PAC had received $8.75 million in contributions for the three-month period ending June 30. However, Musk’s substantial financial commitment is said to have begun in July, suggesting that future filings may reflect a significant uptick in the PAC’s financial resources.

The emergence of America PAC and Musk’s reported involvement mark a shift in the Tesla CEO’s publicly stated position. Musk previously posted on X that he did not intend to donate to either Trump or President Biden’s campaigns.

Recent events, including the near-assassination of Trump, indicate a growing alignment between Musk and the former president. Musk formally endorsed Trump on X following the attempted assassination, stating, “I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery.” He later compared Trump’s toughness to that of Theodore Roosevelt.

This development comes amid reports of increasingly frequent communication between Musk and Trump in recent months. The Journal previously reported on their developing rapport and Musk’s involvement in a data-driven project aimed at preventing voter fraud, which Trump was briefed on.
