BREAKING: Far-left protestors break the walls at DNC perimeter in Chicago, clash with riot police

Before the first night of programming at the Democratic National Convention, where Joe Biden is scheduled to speak later in the evening, far-left protesters breached the fenced perimeter surrounding Chicago’s United Center.

The protesters, some wearing keffiyehs and holding anti-Israel signs and flags, forced their way through the outer fencing. They then approached a second line of fencing, where dozens of officers were stationed behind it.

At this inner barrier, some protesters attempted to tear it down.

Riot police quickly intervened, pushing the protesters back as signs were thrown at the officers. According to Frontlines’ Savanah Hernandez, four protesters were arrested outside the DNC. Other agitators immediately tried to break through the fencing again in an effort to “rescue” their fellow protesters. Police were seen carrying away those who had been arrested.

Leading up to the breach, the protesters were seen banging on the non-scalable fencing, with anti-Israel signs displayed around the United Center.
