The Justice Department is set to release Jeffrey Epstein list on Thursday. The document, spanning more than 100 pages, contains a list of contacts but lacks additional context, according to a source who reviewed the files.
The source indicated that this initial release may be a “disappointment” for those hoping for major revelations regarding Epstein’s connections to powerful figures in politics and business.
While Epstein was linked to several high-profile individuals—including former President Bill Clinton, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Prince Andrew, and President Donald Trump—no client list will be included in this first disclosure.
The release is being referred to as “Phase One” of the Epstein files, suggesting that more documents may be forthcoming. Copies of the binder were reportedly circulated within the West Wing before being distributed to conservative influencers ahead of the official publication.
Rogan O’Handley, known as “DC Draino” on X, claimed he and other conservative personalities received the binders during a White House meeting with President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and FBI Director Kash Patel.
“This is the most transparent administration in American history,” O’Handley stated. “The best part? This is just the start. AG Bondi confirmed there are thousands more Epstein File documents being secretly held in the SDNY, and they will be delivered to the DOJ in DC by February 28.”
He further asserted, “People will be going to jail for what they’ve done.”
Other conservative influencers, including Chaya Raichik of “Libs of TikTok,” Liz Wheeler, Emily Austin, and Jack Posobiec, were also invited to the West Wing to preview the files.

Despite the anticipation, the limited nature of the release has drawn criticism from transparency advocates. Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), who leads a House GOP task force on government transparency, expressed frustration over the documents.
“I nor the task force were given or reviewed the Epstein documents being released today,” Luna tweeted. “A New York Post story just revealed that the documents will simply be Epstein’s phonebook.”
She continued, “THIS IS NOT WHAT WE OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ASKED FOR and a complete disappointment. GET US THE INFORMATION WE ASKED FOR!”
Some of Epstein’s address books have already been made public. In 2015, Gawker released a 97-page address book containing names, phone numbers, and addresses of 221 individuals.
Another address book from 1997, which listed 349 names—including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo’s wife Cristina Greeven, actress Morgan Fairchild, and billionaire Carl Icahn—was put up for auction last year but failed to sell.
It remains unclear whether future releases will include new and previously undisclosed information.
Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell on August 10, 2019, in what authorities ruled a suicide. At the time, the 66-year-old financier was awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
His former girlfriend and alleged accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for child sex trafficking, perjury, and related crimes.
This remains a developing story. Updates will follow as more information becomes available.
