Kristi Noem’s purse stolen including $3,000 in cash, during dinner in DC

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem‘s purse got stolen on Easter Sunday despite her Secret Service protection, a new bombshell report claims.

According to a new report from CNN, the DHS boss had a bag taken from her as she was out dining Sunday evening.

Speaking on Monday during the White House Easter Egg Roll, Noem addressed the situation publicly for the first time, acknowledging the theft and confirming that the case remains unresolved.

According to a law enforcement source, surveillance footage from the restaurant showed an unidentified white male wearing a medical mask entering the establishment and making off with Noem’s belongings.

The suspect reportedly left the premises shortly after the theft, disappearing before security personnel or law enforcement could intervene.

The stolen items included a wide range of personal and official materials, raising serious concerns about security implications. Among the items taken were Noem’s driver’s license, passport, medications, makeup bag, apartment keys, blank checks, a Department of Homeland Security access badge, and approximately $3,000 in cash.

The loss of the DHS access badge and passport is particularly alarming, given the sensitivity of Noem’s role as the head of one of the most critical federal agencies responsible for national security, immigration enforcement, and emergency response.

The U.S. Secret Service, which provides protective services for Cabinet-level officials including the DHS secretary, is now conducting a full-scale investigation.

Agents are reviewing security camera footage, interviewing witnesses, and working to trace any attempted or actual use of the stolen financial instruments, including checks or identification documents.

The suspect’s identity remains unknown at this time. The Secret Service and local authorities have not released any additional information about potential leads or whether they believe the theft was a random act or a targeted operation.
