Michael W. Wiseman was arrested on Friday in Florida for allegedly making threats against Donald Trump, his running mate JD Vance, and their families. The Jupiter, Florida police reported that Wiseman was arrested on charges of written threats to kill, specifically through social media posts.
The threats were allegedly made on Facebook, and Wiseman was reportedly in custody at the Palm Beach County Jail as of Friday night. Police stated that there were multiple threats made via Facebook, which included threats of bodily harm to the Trump and Vance families. Jupiter is approximately 20 miles north of Trump’s home in Palm Beach.

Numerous individuals who saw the posts on Facebook reported them to the police. The investigation was conducted in a coordinated effort between the Secret Service and the Palm Beach State Attorney’s Office, according to police and the AP.
