Trump suggests regime change in Iran after US bombs Iranian nuclear sites

Just one day after ordering precision strikes on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, President Donald Trump suggested that regime change in Iran might be the only path forward.

“It’s not politically correct to use the term ‘Regime Change,’ but if the current Iranian Regime is unable to MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN, why wouldn’t there be a Regime change??? MIGA!!!” Trump posted Sunday on Truth Social.

The comment came hours after he announced the U.S. military had successfully bombed three of Iran’s key nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran… A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow,” Trump wrote late Saturday. “All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”

According to U.S. military sources, B-2 stealth bombers dropped at least six 30,000-pound bunker-busting bombs on the Fordow facility—obliterating the heavily fortified underground site. The mission was described as a “total success.”

In a brief statement from the White House Saturday night, President Trump made it clear that any retaliation from Iran would trigger further U.S. military action: “If Iran responds with force, we will hit back harder.”

On Sunday, the B-2 bombers returned safely to Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri after completing the 36-hour combat mission. Footage of the bombers landing went viral online, with supporters hailing it as a show of unmatched American power.

Meanwhile, Iran is scrambling to respond. According to the Associated Press, Iran’s ambassador to the U.S. accused America of “destroying diplomacy,” claiming the Iranian military will now determine the “timing, nature, and scale” of its retaliation.

As tensions soar, President Trump’s message to Tehran is clear: Either make peace—or watch your regime collapse under the weight of American firepower.
