Over the past week, England has witnessed protests against the significant influx of Muslim migrants, resulting in violent confrontations instigated by a self-proclaimed “Muslim patrol.” This group of immigrants has been targeting and attacking white anti-immigration protesters.
Journalist Andy Ngo has been at the forefront of reporting on this “Muslim patrol,” documenting instances of violence against native Britons who are opposing the immigration wave. Ngo has also reported on various far-left activist groups, such as Antifa, that have clashed with anti-immigration protesters or have encouraged violence against them.
Ngo posted a video detailing recent events, their causes, and subsequent developments.
“On the 29th of July, there was a deadly mass stabbing in Southport, near Liverpool. It was a horrific attack on young children, particularly young girls. Three young girls were killed, and about ten other people were injured, some critically,” Ngo explained.
“For about 48 hours, there was uncertainty about the suspects, with a lot of misinformation circulating online. The day after the stabbing in Southport, a vigil was held, after which community members and others gathered outside a local mosque in Southport and began throwing projectiles at it. This led to a full-scale riot, with a police vehicle set on fire, officers injured, and significant violence occurring.”
“The suspect was identified as a 17-year-old male from an African migrant family background. There has been no evidence to suggest that his alleged actions were connected to radical Islam. However, the incident has exacerbated existing grievances among the white British working class, related to mass migration, illegal immigration, Islam, economic issues, and more,” Ngo continued.
Ngo highlighted that these sentiments have spilled into riots primarily in low-income, working-class towns in northern England. He also mentioned a protest outside the Prime Minister’s residence in London, which was quickly shut down, leading to claims of “two-tier policing” from protesters.
Ngo further revealed a significant push on Saturday afternoon through the north of the country to protest mass migration, prompting a substantial response from left-leaning counterprotest groups and Muslim counterprotesters.
“The core of this unrest is decades of unresolved issues between different communities in England, exacerbated by the government’s neglect of certain grievances and a series of Islamic terrorist attacks over the years. This has culminated in the current violent clashes, where rioters are attacking drivers, smashing businesses, setting police cars on fire, and assaulting various individuals,” Ngo said.
“We’ll have to wait and see what happens next, but things are quite tense right now. It won’t take much for the situation to potentially escalate further,” he added.
