Iran threatens to unleash sleeper cell attacks inside US after getting bombed

Before President Trump’s airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, the Iranian regime sent a chilling message: unleash sleeper-cell attacks inside US if Iran was targeted.

According to two senior US officials and a source with direct knowledge of the threat, the warning was relayed to President Trump through an intermediary during last week’s G7 summit in Canada, which Trump left early on June 16 to weigh military options following escalating hostilities between Israel and Iran.

The White House has declined to comment, and the Iranian Mission to the United Nations offered no official response.

Iran’s threat wasn’t just posturing—it was a desperate attempt to intimidate the United States into inaction. But President Trump, unlike his predecessor, refused to blink. Instead, he authorized one of the most precise and devastating military operations in recent history, leveling three major nuclear facilities including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.

“Iran’s aggression will be met with overwhelming force,” Trump posted shortly after the strikes. “Any retaliation against the United States WILL BE MET WITH FORCE FAR GREATER THAN WHAT WAS WITNESSED TONIGHT.”

The Department of Homeland Security issued a national alert in response to the Iranian threat, warning of a “heightened threat environment in the United States.” The advisory noted that Tehran could launch retaliatory terrorist attacks, cyberwarfare, or even target U.S. officials linked to the 2020 operation that eliminated Iranian terrorist mastermind Qasem Soleimani.

Vice President JD Vance addressed the growing security concerns Sunday on NBC making it clear that the Trump administration is not taking the threat lightly.

“We are evaluating the possibility of a homeland attack very closely,” Vance said. “One of our major concerns is the lack of a full accounting for who entered our country under Joe Biden’s failed border policies. We know for a fact that individuals on the terror watchlist were caught crossing. How many slipped through? That’s the Biden legacy we’re cleaning up.”

Security officials also raised concerns about Iran’s ability to carry out attacks in Europe and other Western nations, not just within U.S. borders.

While the Biden-era media refuses to acknowledge it, the facts are clear: President Trump acted swiftly and decisively to neutralize a growing nuclear threat, even in the face of intimidation. The Iranian regime gambled that America would back down—Trump proved them dead wrong.
